The Vision
We tell stories to restore home to displaced families in Colombia.
There are five million displaced Colombians. Does that matter to you? It's hard to help someone you don't know. What if we told you the story of Abelardo, Olga, and their five children, who lost their home, their farm, their livelihood, and fled to the city slums in search of a new life? Will knowing them make a difference?

- We believe that stories have more power than statistics.
- We believe that it's easier to help people you know.

We made a documentary film, Leaving La Floresta, chronicling the journey of this family from their farm in the country to the city slum. Our vision is to share this story and motivate those who hear it to action. What if young people, old people, activists, pacifists, people of faith, and people of conscience banded together to do something about displacement in Colombia? Our goal is to challenge those people to do two things:
