The Team
-
Michael Christmas
Every crew has a ringleader, and Michael is ours. He has a knack for connecting people, and spends most of his time getting others excited to help bring displacement to an end in Colombia. His knowledge of Spanish and Latin American History degree also come in handy.
-
Zack Mellette
Zack has a mind for business and a true entrepreneurial spirit. He has a heart for those that are down and out, and is seeking ways to make our work in Colombia viable and sustainable. Look for him at Give Us Names events and fundraisers, and shoot him a note if you want to get your business involved in ending displacement in Colombia.
-
Dan Roge
He's got spunk and charisma, and a Communications degree from Clemson University. In a lot of ways, Dan is the voice of Give Us Names and spends a lot of his time traveling the road, sharing the story of Abelardo and Olga with whoever will give him an ear.
-
J. Clay
Camera man and demolition expert. If Dan's the voice, Justen's the eye. He's also on the road quite a bit, documenting our work in Colombia and here in the States.
-
Caleb Collier
He's got red hair and a passion to tell stories. Caleb has spent the past year overseeing the production of Leaving La Floresta and wishes he knew more about filmmaking. His Colombian friends affectionately call him "Buñuelo," which is a dough-like cheese ball, most popular as a breakfast snack. Call him Boone for short.
-
Ryan Bernal
Jack of all trades. Ryan splits his time making music, taking pictures, creating videos, and dabbling with web design. Needless to say, he adds a lot of creative fire to the team. He's happily married and lives with his wife Jenna in Nashville, TN.
